This treatment isn’t very complicated, but we do have some guidelines for post-care.

Pre-care:

• Do not undergo other aesthetic treatments for at least 5 days prior to your HydraFacial in AMARA.

• Avoid shaving, waxing, or other skin irritants for at least 48 hours before your appointment.

• Stay out of direct sunlight for a week before your treatment.

• If you have to be exposed to direct sunlight, we advise using SPF 30 (or higher).

Post-care:

• Use only gentle foaming cleansers for 1 week after your Hydrafacial.

• Avoid using over-the-counter (OTC) acne products that contain retinol or tretinoin for 1 week after treatment.

• After your appointment, it’s important to keep out of direct sunlight for at least a week.
